Hello and thank you for visiting my blog today! I hope everyone has had a great holiday weekend.
This is the last in my series of posts “Hello”. I love this little chick stamp, he is such a cute little fellow. I wanted this card to be bright and cheery and this little chick made that easy to do. I have teamed him up with the lovely Crushed Curry and Lost lagoon, as these colours go beautifully together to make a bright and cheery card!
I have had these wooden sentiments sitting around for a while and thought they made a nice change from stamped sentiments. I couldn’t decide which ribbon to use so as the Crushed Curry ribbon is nice and broad I ended up layering the ribbon and I think it worked quite well.
I wanted this cheery little chick to raise a smile – I hope that he has made you smile too!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a good week,

Just a quick reminder folks that there is just one week left in which to grab yourself some of these fab free goodies!!
Hi everyone, apologies that I am a little late with my blog this week!
I love butterflies and I really love the colours of the card I have featured today. These beautiful colours are retiring soon from Stampin’ Up and you can only get these lovely papers from Sale-a-bration, so I am making the most of them! As I mentioned in my last blog, I think we forget to send cards just to say hi, so I have made a few for this very purpose – you may see a few heading this way over the next couple of weeks!
I tried to keep this card relatively simple as I really wanted the focus, not just on the butterfly but on this beautiful hexagon stamp and punch set. I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set again, stamping it off a few times to give a really faded look.
Rather than layering this card, as I often do, I decided just to ink the edges of the top piece of card with the lovely Blackberry Bliss ink. The sentiment is rather small, maybe not too noticeable but again, I didn’t want to shift the focus from the hexagons. I even added a button and linen thread to one of the hexagons to really draw it out.
I am really going to miss these beautiful inks, papers and cardstock, so I have been stocking up on them before it’s too late – you might want to do the same. Also, there are only nine more days left to take advantage of the lovely free items in Sale-a-bration, so you may want to get shopping! Click on any of the items listed below or click on my “shop now” tab and head on over to grab a bargain!
Thanks for stopping by, have a great week everyone – keep crafting and I’ll see you next week!

Hi everyone, I hope you have all had a good week and a lovely weekend – and had time to craft!
I always think its so lovely to get a card that’s not for a special occasion or because you are ill, but simply to say “hello” – I think we probably don’t send that type of card enough, I know I don’t! So that’s why I decided to feature this card today.
I love the colour combination I have used in this card – mint macaroon and tip top taupe. They are gentle colours that I think work beautifully together so I decided to use them to make this cheery greeting card. It’s also great that there is matching cardstock available for the ink pads so that everything blends well together. I used the Hello You Sizzix thinlits die set for the wording as I love the script it uses.
I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to add a little interest to the background. I like a clean and uncluttered card but sometimes the background can feel a little too bare. This stamp set is great for adding that extra something -I like to stamp on scrap paper first though to take off some of the ink so you get a nice faded effect.
Last of all on this card I found some patterned paper that really matched the colours well so I added a few hearts and stars. All I need to do now is send it to someone to say Hi!
Thank you for stopping by, I hope it has given you some crafty inspiration,
Hope you all have a great week ahead,

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by! I hope you have all had a good weekend.
I have another set of thank you cards this week, I seem to make a lot of thank you cards but that must be a good think as it shows I must have a lot to be thankful for!
I absolutely love the regal colours from Stampin’ Up so chose to use 5 of them to make these cards, using both the ink pads and matching cardstock.
I have used two different stamps from Another Thank You stamp set. I have made several cards from this stamp set as it says thank you in so many designs. I have used this pretty scalloped oval die cut to make the greeting really stand out as the focus of the cards.
I scored the top white layer of card on one side and at the bottom to add more dimension to the cards. I used the itty bitty punch (again, I know, but I really like it!) to add some interest. These cards were simple to make and a pretty way to say thank you, so give them a go yourself!
I hope you liked these cards and they have inspired your creativity!
Have a great week,
P.S please not that for the time being I shall be changing to a weekly blog instead of three times a week – although you may see an extra one now and again if I have had an especially creative week!!
REMEMBER!! – You only have until the end of this month to take advantage of the great Sale-a-bration goodies! Click on the picture below for more info or to shop now!
