Pootler’s Design Team Week 3

Hi, and welcome to week 3 of The Pootler’s Design Team blog. I have had so much fun experimenting with this set! This week I wanted to do something other than a card so had to put my thinking cap on. I have a little box that sits on my desk with post-it notes in it, so I decided to copy the design and see how it turned out.

I was really pleased with the end result – it turned out to be a super easy box to make, all I really had to do was think of the design for the top. To make the box I used the gorgeous new Fresh Fig card stock from the new catalogue, I think it is definitely one of my favourite colours so far this year.

I used a little bit of the new Powder Pink ribbon to make a wee tag to open the box – then of course I HAD to go and buy some chocolates to see how they would fit in the box!!

In the end I decided to make a card as well to match the box as I was really pleased with how cute the box turned out.
