Hi everyone and welcome to my first blog hop of the year! I am really excited today to be joining in the Pootler’s Team Blog Hop! This hop is all about showing some of the amazing new products from the spring/summer catalogue. This catalogue is packed with so many gorgeous goodies that it was so hard to decide which one I wanted to share with you! I showed you the adorable Falling in Love suite last week, so today I decided to go with the stunning Dragonfly Dreams bundle.
This set is so beautiful, but because I love so much in the new catalogue I ended up mixing it up with a whole bunch of other stuff that I love too! The dragonfly itself I coloured with the gorgeous new watercolour pencils and a blender pen. It is so beautifully detailed that I thought the lace doilie went perfectly with it. I have listed at the bottom of this blog all the other products that I have used.
Thanks for stopping by, please use the list below to follow the hop and see the amazing creations my fellow Pootlers have come up with.
Have a crafty weekend,
Sam Hammond Donald
Hi and welcome to this weeks blog!
I have combined a couple of my favourites today to produce these cute little gift bags.
I adore the Bella and Friends stamp set, it’s so cute. And my favourite designer series paper at the moment is the gorgeous Blooms and Bliss. It is really beautiful.
I have two favourite tools at the minute. One is the Stampin’ Up Gift bag Punchboard. It’s so easy to produce gorgeous gift bags in minutes! The other is the gorgeous die set, Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies – these dies add a beautiful effect to your project.
So I have put together these favourites in a YouTube video, so that you can see how they all come together beautifully.
I really hope that you enjoy this video and give these gift bags a go yourself.
Thanks for stopping by,
Hi, so today’s blog is an extra one for the week to remind you that some of the fabulous sale-a-bration goodies retire on Monday, so you might want to hop over to shop and see what you can get while it’s still there! There is more than one project here for today because I love these products!
I’ve used lots of the sale-a-bration stamps and papers and I’m really not sure yet which is my favourite – I love the little chick, he is so cute and very versatile, as you can see from my photos.
The Hello stamp set is also great – I’ve only posted one of my cards here made with that stamp but again its very versatile.
The Perfectly Artistic designer paper stack is great too, watercolour on one side and marbled on the other, it can be used for so many different projects.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have enjoyed these projects and you are having a great weekend!

Today I decided that I would make these fun little boxes! They are small, but what a cute way to send someone you love a few of their favourite chocolates! They are also very easy to make.
I cut the template using my Cricut Explore, it comes from the cartridge “Bags, Tags, Boxes and More”.
For each box I cut a piece of vellum slightly smaller than the side of the box and stamped the image (leave it to dry a while or the ink smudges on the vellum, I found this out the hard way!). I punched out the hearts/flowers to decorate the tops of the boxes.
Once the ink was try, I attached the stamped vellum on to the inside of the boxes with glue dots, making sure that the image was in the centre of the cut out piece. When putting the box together, I found it better to use double sided tape rather than a glue runner, it makes the box feel sturdier. I added the “just for you” sentiment on one of them with dimensionals.
I hope that you enjoy making this project or it inspires you to make your own little “love boxes”
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
P.S. Don’t forget these fab products expire 15th February!!

Today I thought I would share some gift bags that I have made recently. They are the perfect size for a small gift and very simple to make. The finished size of the bag is 14cm wide by 15cm high.
I have included a template and instructions on how to make these pretty bags at the bottom of this blog.
I love these bags as they are so easy to make and take very little time. The added details of the coordinating little flowers and matching tags really add the personal touch! It’s much more fun to send a gift to friends or family in a pretty home made bag than a shop bought one.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have fun making these cute bags!
